This etherial piece was inspired by a trip to Valles Calderas in NM. It was a beautiful blue sky day as so many in our state. I was able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and spotted some Black tailed Prairie Dogs and a Coyote on that trip. The painting was made with several layers of paint along with other mixed media. It is all done on a stretched 24” x 18” canvas ready to hang with the sides painted black.
